An eye for colour

When Lutterworth High School’s site manager, Alan Ingall, approached our Leicester (Freemen’s Common) branch earlier this month, it was with a request a little different to the usual wall and ceiling paint.

In preparation for the school production of the Broadway smash hit Hairspray, branch manager, Tom Cave and his team were asked to help match up the multiple colours required for the large 10m x 4m feature sign.

Working from just a picture the 13 colours were matched and selected from the Albany and Dulux palettes and supplied in a vinyl matt finish.  Alan then set to work using a mixture of sash brushes also supplied by the local branch and the result is fantastic!
